Vegify at Little Brampton Barn cookery courses are ideal for social gatherings, couples, a family-based activity or corporate team building events. If you would like to book a private course for up to eight people then please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Our cookery classes are suitable for all tastes. Below you can see the number of available spaces, dates and times. The hands-on classes are designed for pairs working together so unfortunately we cannot accommodate bookings for single spaces. However, single spaces can be booked on the Demo & Dine classes.

Middle Eastern Mezze

Get ready for a flavour-packed journey through the vibrant tastes of the Middle East -right from our kitchen!

In this hands-on vegetarian class, we’ll cook up a feast that’s bursting with aroma, color, and spice. Picture sizzling halloumi baked with lemon, chilli, and thyme, the smoky sweetness of creamy muhammara dip, and delicious rolls of aubergine, spinach, and feta fresh from the oven. We’ll bring earthy depth with Middle Eastern style mushrooms, bake warm, fluffy za’atar flatbreads that fill the air with spice, and end on a high with a quick and easy syrup-soaked baklava that shatters perfectly with each bite.

Come hungry, bring your curiosity, and get ready to cook, taste, and have fun!

Simply Spanish

Get ready to bring a little Spanish sunshine into the kitchen! Inspired by the lively tapas bars of Barcelona and the bustling markets of Andalusia, this hands-on class celebrates the bold, rustic flavors of Spain. We’ll cook up crispy manchego and sun-dried tomato croquettes, a golden Spanish tortilla, and smoky mushroom and red pepper skewers. No tapas spread would be complete without bravas potatoes drenched in that iconic fiery sauce, or rustic pan Catalan - crusty bread rubbed with garlic, tomato, and olive oil just as they serve it on the Mediterranean coast. To finish, we’ll crack into a silky cream Catalan with its caramelised top, all paired with a refreshing glass of homemade sangria.

It’s a feast full of colour, flavour, and fiesta spirit - made to share and enjoy!

A Taste of India

Learn to cook dishes you won’t find in an Indian restaurant as we explore some of the more traditional dishes cooked in Indian family homes. Vegetarian cooking is easy when making Indian dishes as the flavours and textures are so varied that you really won’t miss the meat!

Working in pairs, you will create dishes to serve in a traditional 'Thali' - an authentic way to present a variety of Indian dishes.  You will prepare a starter such as tandoori mushrooms, followed by a section of traditional vegetable curries, dhal and rice. You will also learn some quick and easy ways to make Indian breads such as naan and chappatis. And of course, the meal wouldn’t be complete without a delicious sweet Indian dessert. After preparing the dishes, you will all sit down together and eat the fabulous food that you have created.

Price includes all food, drink and cookery instruction. Exact menu items may change from course to course. The course is designed for working in pairs and there will be a maximum of four pairs on each session.

Asian Fusion

Take your taste buds on a vibrant journey across Asia without leaving the kitchen! In this hands-on class, we’ll blend bold flavors and fresh ingredients from across the continent. Roll up fragrant Vietnamese summer rolls served with a zesty, spicy peanut dip, and pan-fry delicate mushroom gyozas until golden and crisp. We’ll make crispy gochujang tofu with that perfect punch of heat, and toss together a refreshing Asian-inspired rice salad bursting with color and texture. To finish on a sweet note, indulge in creamy coconut and mango pudding that melts in your mouth—just like the tropical desserts found in bustling street markets from Hanoi to Seoul. Full of aroma, color, and bold flavors, this class is all about fun, hands-on cooking and sharing incredible food!

The Italian Experience

Step into the heart of Italy and bring the flavors of rustic trattorias and sun-drenched piazzas into your kitchen!

In this hands-on class, we’ll create a menu that’s rich, vibrant, and utterly delicious. Start with a sizzling mozzarella and aubergine bombe, then roll and fill fresh tortelloni with creamy butternut squash, ricotta and Shropshire blue. Savor the nutty, indulgent walnut and sage butter sauce, and crunch into delicate, salty parmesan crisps. To finish on a sweet note, enjoy a zesty, creamy limoncello tiramisu that transports you straight to the Amalfi Coast.

With bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and hands-on fun, this class is all about enjoying the essence of Italy—la dolce vita on a plate!

Christmas Cooking

A Festive Feast – Christmas Cookery Demonstration & Dining Experience

Celebrate the season with an evening of delicious food, festive cheer, and relaxed good company.

Join us for A Festive Feast - a three-hour Christmas cookery demonstration and dining experience that’s perfect for friends, family, or small groups looking for something a little different this December.

Sit back with a glass of wine (or a beer or soft drink if you prefer) as you watch the creation of a beautiful three-course festive meal, from starter to show-stopping dessert. We will guide you through each dish, sharing tips, time-saving tricks, and creative ways to bring a touch of magic to your own Christmas table.

There’ll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, soak up the aromas, and even get hands-on if you’d like to join in the fun.

Once the cooking’s done, you’ll gather around the table to enjoy the meal together, complete with drinks, laughter, and that unmistakable festive atmosphere.

Luxury Afternoon Tea

In this class we will be discovering how to create a fantastic, innovative and delicious vegetarian afternoon tea

Working in pairs, you will create a number of mouthwatering dishes which will make up a luxurious afternoon tea.  You’ll be amazed how you will be able to serve these dishes for delicious lunches and snacks too. You will sit down together and eat everything you have created at the end of the course.

Exact menu items will vary from course to course, but you can expect to prepare both sweet and savoury dishes which go beyond simply sandwiches and scones. The class will include recipes from around the world to add an innovative twist to this classic tradition.

Price per person includes all food, drink (including Prosecco) and cookery instruction. The course is designed for working in pairs and there will be a maximum of four pairs on each session.

Indian Street Food

Get ready for a flavour-packed journey through the streets of India - right from our kitchen!

In this hands-on vegetarian class, we’ll be cooking up some of the country’s most loved street eats. Think crispy onion bhajis, golden aloo tikki patties, and the ultimate street-side favorite: tangy, crunchy pan puri. We’ll stir up sizzling chilli paneer, whip together refreshing mango salsa, and balance it all with a creamy spiced coconut chutney.

Of course, no Indian feast is complete without a steaming cup of masala chai, and we’ll finish on a sweet note with rich, comforting carrot halva. It’s all about bold spices, vibrant colours, and plenty of fun - come hungry and ready to play with flavour!

What to bring to Cookery Classes

We will supply everything you need for the cookery class - all ingredients, equipment, aprons and refreshments. Please wear comfortable clothes and footwear. Please let us know if you have any allergies or specific dietary requirements. All dishes will be vegetarian. Some dishes may include dairy, gluten, nuts and seeds. Alternatives will be provided if prior notice is given. Wine and Prosecco during the session are included in the price as well as soft drinks.
